Height comparison chart
Add up to 10 people, see them standing side by side to scale, then share it as a post or story image, or send a link so friends can add themselves.

The short answer
Enter each person’s name and height in feet and inches or centimeters. Each one appears as a realistic silhouette drawn to their exact height on one ruler. The figure is picked to suit the height automatically, and you can share the result as a post or story image, or as a link that opens the same chart for a friend.
How it is calculated
Every inch of height takes the same space on the ruler, so a 6-foot adult is drawn exactly twice as tall as a 3-foot toddler.
Units: 1 foot = 12 inches = 30.48 cm, 1 inch = 2.54 cm.
Worked example
Alex is 5′11″ (180 cm) and his little sister Lily is 4′1″ (124 cm). Add both:
- Type "Alex", 5 ft 11 in, and leave the figure on Automatic. A male figure appears.
- Type "Lily", 4 ft 1 in, and choose Female. The tool picks a girl figure because she is under 4′7″ (140 cm).
- The chart shows the gap: 1′10″ (56 cm), so Lily reaches about 69% of her brother’s height.
Alex is 1′10″ taller than Lily

Special cases and common mistakes
- Measure barefoot, floor to top of head. Sneakers usually add about 1 inch (2–3 cm), so enter the height you actually want to compare.
- Automatic figures depend on height only: under 3′3″ (100 cm) a toddler, under 4′7″ (140 cm) a child, under 5′3″ (160 cm) a teen, and 6′5″ (195 cm) or more a basketball player for males. Override it from the Figure menu.
- Original silhouettes designed for Toolida. They give realistic proportions but are not photos of real people.
- Nothing is uploaded. Names, heights and the image are all created in your browser. A comparison link carries the names and heights at its end, so send it only to people you want to see them.
Frequently asked questions
How many people can I compare?
Up to 10 in one chart. Remove someone from the list to add another.
Can I enter height in centimeters?
Yes. Switch to "cm" above the chart and both the ruler and the inputs change to centimeters.
How do I save and share the chart?
Pick a size (Post, Story or Wide) and press Share image (Download image on a computer). On a phone it opens the share sheet for Messages, Instagram or Snapchat; on a computer it saves a high-resolution PNG.
Can a friend add their height to my chart?
Yes. Press "Copy comparison link" and send it. The link opens the same people for them, and they can add their own height to see where they stand.
Is the chart accurate?
Yes. Everyone is drawn at their real height on one scale, so the difference between figures matches the difference between the heights you entered.
